Student Life
Collaborators are recovering histories of Washington University students amid slavery, its wake, and the struggle for freedom. This includes examination of 19th and 20th century student organizations and publications including The Irving Union (first publised in 1869), Student Life (1878), and The Hatchet yearbook (1903).
